Wooden Dummy

The Wooden Dummy (or Wooden Man) represents the various limbs of an opponent and their angles of attack and deflection. It is used to develop presision, work angles and perfect footwork for close-range combat, ingraining all the techniques into muscle memory ; it also doubles as a conditioning tool.

It was a famous tool historically used by Bruce Lee's Wing Chun master, Ip Man.
